Captain Trond began his flying career in 1989 in Atlanta Georgia, since then he has accumulated more the 11,000 flying hours. The passion for flying and the Caribbean way of life prompted him to start Island Airlines. He has extensive flying experience in the Caribbean, from Santa Domingo down to Trinidad, Barbados and Margarita Island in Venezuela.
Island Airlines is currently making plans for going ‘jet propulsion’ by adding a Learjet 55 to its fleet of aircraft by mid 2016. This brings cities deeper into the eastern states of the U.S. as well as all countries in Central America into Island Airline’s flight service area. And of course the Learjet presents a great option for travelers requiring higher speed and shorter flight times.
